A hearing evaluation includes a battery of tests that identify the type, severity, and etiology of hearing loss.
Tinnitus can be described as a “ringing,” “buzzing,” and/or “hissing” in the ears, which you can hear but not anyone else. Assessing the potential causes and level of severity of tinnitus is the first step to your road to recovery.

Feeling some crackling in your ears after taking a shower? Do your ears often feel clogged after exercising, wearing hearing aids, or ear buds? It could be earwax build up. We can help. Earwax removal is quick, painless, and effective using the Earigator in our office.
If you feel as though you are experiencing difficulty hearing even when it’s been established that you have normal hearing, you may have Auditory Processing Disorder. Essentially, parts of higher processing in the brain that have trouble making sense of what is happening at ear-level (what you are hearing), especially in noisy situations. We provide Auditory Processing Disorder treatment to both children and adults.

We ensure that your hearing aids are properly fit, programmed, and maintained to meet your lifestyle needs through high quality cleaning, repair, and reprogramming services.
Personal technology called assistive listening devices (ALDs) can facilitate one-on-one communication. ALDs are microphone-equipped hand-held amplifiers that bring the desired sound closer to your ears. These little gadgets record and transmit the sound you wish to hear while potentially filtering out some surrounding noise. Other personal devices include wireless FM devices and personal accessories that can be used with hearing aids and cochlear implants.
